Seminar Energy Markets in Summer Term 2014 in Cooperation with N-ERGIE
In the summer semester 2014, the Chair of Economic Theory, Prof. Dr. Grimm, and the Chair of Regulation and Energy Markets, Prof. Dr. Zöttl, will offer an interdisciplinary seminar on Energy Markets in cooperation with N-ERGIE Nuremberg. The seminar will be held as block course during the semester.
The seminar will be in German and count as “Seminar zur Wirtschaftstheorie” (WiSo, Bachelor), “Wirtschaftstheoretisches Seminar” (WiSo, Master) and „Energieökonomisches Seminar“ (TechFak).
The objective of the seminar is to discuss both, model-based and practical problems and developments on the energy markets on the basis of economic theories. The participants will deal with scientific papers and models, but they will also learn to combine theory and practice and apply economic models to real-world problems in close cooperation with N-ERGIE.
The seminar will include an exclusive program including supervision of experts at N-ERGIE, group dinners and guided tours at N-ERGIE.

Requirements: Seminar paper (15 pages), presentation (20 minutes), discussions
