On November 8, 2023, the German Council of Economic Experts - "die Wirtschaftsweisen" - will present its annual report to the German government. On Tuesday, November 14, 6.30 pm, Prof. Dr. Veronika Grimm, who heads the Chair of Economics at FAU WiSo and has been a member of the Council of Economic Experts since April 2020, will present the report at WiSo Nuremberg.

The Chair of Economic Theory, Prof. Dr. Grimm, and the junior professorship for energy markets and energy system analysis (Prof. Dr. Liebensteiner) are offering an interdisciplinary seminar on the topic of energy markets in cooperation with various industrial partners in the 2023 summer semester. ...

Due to the current dynamic overall situation in the energy sector and its particular energy policy challenges, the BMWK has asked the Expert Commission on the Energy of the Future Monitoring Process, of which Prof. Grimm is a member, to prepare an analysis on the current situation on the electricity market and on further development possibilities of the electricity market design against the background of the energy transition.
